How to cancel Amazon Prime

Steps

1. Go to Your Account → Prime Membership (or the "Cancel Your Prime Membership" page).
2. Follow the prompts to end the membership.

What happens

If you're a paid member and haven't used any Prime benefits this period, you get a full refund for it, processed in 3–5 business days.

Instead

Amazon also offers pausing Prime instead of cancelling.

The catch

• Add-on channels bought through Prime Video (e.g. Paramount+) keep billing after Prime ends. Cancel them separately.
• Signed up through Google Play on Android? Cancel through Google subscriptions.
• Got Prime through another company? Cancel with them.
