How to cancel Spotify Premium

Steps

1. Go to Manage your plan on your Spotify account page (in a web browser).
2. Select Cancel subscription.

What happens

Charges stop

Premium lasts until your next billing date, then the account switches to free.

Refund

No refund for the current period. You keep Premium until the billing date.

The catch

• Cancelling during a $0 free trial switches you to free immediately, and that trial can't be restarted.
• Family/Duo members can't cancel the plan. Only the plan manager can; members just leave it.
• No option to change plan? You're billed through a partner (phone or internet provider). Check Payment on the Manage your plan page for who to contact.
• Playlists and saved music stay on the free account.
