To cancel Canva, go online and follow 5 steps. Future payments stop. You keep the paid features until the end of the current billing period.
Cancel online in 5 steps. Checked against Canva’s own help page on Oct 31, 2026.
Steps
Log in to the Canva account (or team) that holds the paid plan.
From the homepage, select your account profile to open the menu, then Settings.
Go to Billing.
On your plan, select Cancel plan, then Continue cancellation.
Choose a reason, select Continue cancellation again, then select Cancel subscription. A confirmation email follows.
What happens
Charges stop
Future payments stop. You keep the paid features until the end of the current billing period.
Refund
In most cases Canva subscriptions are not refundable, but Canva reviews every request. Approved refunds take 5-10 business days on a credit card, 3-5 on PayPal, up to 20 on other methods.
Instead
You can pause a Canva Pro, Teams or Business plan for 3 months instead. No charges during the pause, and it resumes automatically after an email reminder. On an annual plan you can pause only with less than two months to renewal.
The catch
Bought it through Google Play or the App Store? You cannot cancel it inside Canva. Cancel in that store, and ask Apple for any refund.
Deleting the app does not cancel the plan.
Still being charged? You may have a second Canva account, or the cancellation never went through. No confirmation email means it probably failed.
Your bank may keep a recurring charge alive even after the card is cancelled or expires.
Cancelling Canva Teams is permanent. You cannot resubscribe to Teams afterwards. Canva suggests switching to Business instead.
Only a Canva for Teams owner or administrator can cancel.
