The Fine Print*

Privacy

We don’t collect anything about you.

No accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising. We keep no record of what you looked up, here or through the API.

The website

These pages are static files. They set no cookies, run no analytics and carry no advertising or tracking scripts. We do not know who you are or what you read.

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which handles every request and keeps its own short-term operational logs, including IP addresses, to serve pages and block attacks. That is Cloudflare’s processing, under their policy, and we do not query or export those logs.

One third party does see you: the page fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads. Nothing else is fetched from anywhere else.

The API and the MCP server

api.howtocancel.ai, including the Model Context Protocol server at /mcp, holds no database and writes nothing down. Every answer is served from a copy of the dataset bundled with the code. There is no account, no API key and no sign-up, and we keep no log of queries or of which agent asked what.

Payments

Paid lookups use x402: your agent signs a USDC payment on the Base network. Settlement is handled by Coinbase’s facilitator and recorded on a public blockchain, which means the paying wallet address and the amount are permanently public, by design, to everyone. We see the wallet address in the payment proof. We do not store it, and we make no attempt to connect a wallet to a person.

If you use the dataset through the Apify Store, Apify runs that and their privacy policy and billing apply, not ours.

The data we publish

Everything we publish is about companies, not people: their own published cancellation and return policies, the page we took each from, and the date we checked. We hold no personal data about anyone, so there is nothing for you to request, correct or have deleted.

Changes and contact

If this ever changes, this page changes with it, and the date above moves. Questions about the data or this policy can go through the source links on any page.

This is a plain description of how the site works, not legal advice.
