How long do you have to return to Zappos?

The basics

How

Open Order History in your account within 60 days and start the return. Choose store credit or your original payment method, repack the items in the original packaging, then pick a UPS return method (QR code or printed label) and drop the box at a UPS location.

Refund timing

On eligible orders the refund is issued as soon as the carrier scans the package. Store credit can take 24 hours, banks up to 10 business days, Afterpay up to 20 and PayPal up to 30. Some customers wait up to 30 days.

Different deadlines

• 60 days: everything, in new condition.
• After 60 days: store credit only, in limited circumstances, and only if you contact Zappos. Guest accounts get nothing after 60 days.

Fees

• A return that does not follow the policy may not be refunded at all, or may carry a restocking fee of up to 50% of the item price.

The catch

• Nothing may be worn, used, altered or washed. All the tags, seals and security tags must still be attached, and nothing may be damaged, incomplete or from a different order.
• Once an item is returned it cannot be sent back to you.
• Guest checkout customers are only refunded to the original payment method, never store credit.
• Keep a refund without posting the items and Zappos warns you at 30 days, then may charge your card again after 45 days.
• Afterpay refunds are capped at what you had actually paid when you returned the item.
